Hello people.

I happen to be the first player in a new game and it will be my first time in such a position. I seem to remember that the first player of a game have some restrictions which could corrupt or crash a game if not followed... But I cannot find again where I have read that.

I was wondering if someone could enlighten me about that? If it is the case then I will need to check out for this game and I won't be able to if I don't know. Razz

I guess you refer to FA7...
no need to worry about it BEFORE the very first turn.

That's not my style. If I need to worry about it eventually then I want to know ASAP so I can plan ahead.

Beside, I seem to remember I need to check something with the first design of both ships and SS designs... No promise I won't mess with that on the first turn.

I've been reading the archives for 3 weeks and I remember reading this as well.
However, you don't have to worry about it as it doesn't get triggered every time.
Even if it does, all the host has to do is to redo one turn.

I think I found it.

Crash Stars Bug

When Player 1's fleet 1 is at a planet with a starbase other than an orbital fort and the final player has a starbase design occupying his 10th starbase design slot stars can crash, the exact circumstances that cause the crash still need to be figured out since something else seems to also be required for the crash to happen but the above circumstances do need to occur for the crash to take place. Ways to avoid the crash are for a dummy race to be placed in the final slot so the 10th starbase slot is never used, for player 1 to keep his fleet 1 away from planets and for it not to be destroyed either in a battle or in a minefield or to have an experienced player as the final player and for them not to use the 10th starbase slot.

Oh.. thought SS means Super Stealth.

Just realised you used it to refer to Star Bases. Rolling Eyes

Yeah, sorry. I've been playing old games lately and I'm currently playing Alien Legacy. All starbases have SS in front of them in that game. Laughing
