here is one I made a while back, saved in old excel spreadsheet xls format...

(scroll to right in spreadsheet to set options such as pop growth rate)

Helps you see differences between 1/2500 and 1/1000 but more expensive factory settings, how UR can boost growth, etc. Originally made to help others understand how my race design worked as part of game diplomacy.

Has flaws such as no limit of factories to population.

Others may wish to post own tools or improvements to mine.

Steven Posey did a great work on something very similar to yours, but with graphs and stuff... have a look at his homepage:
