Questions on economy settings

I have a few questions on the economy settings in the race wizard which I can�t find very much information about.
What is a standard mine and factory settings for a HG and for a HP race? and where should I spend those extra RW-points; more resources per factory, cheaper factories or more factories in operation?
Really need some advice Confused
