They are if they're not overflung. The issue is that there's no reason to use non-overflung packets.



Hmm. The way the game works now, the cloaking must be a very small percentage. I have an example handy of a non-PP, non-SS race looking at a newly launched, non-overflung SS packet. The race's scanner detects the packet, even though the packet distance is 85% of the scanner range. The packet is heading away from the observing race's scanner and the next turn it is 96% of scanner range away and still visible.

Are you sure of the non-overflung cloaking? Can you show me an example?
