Hello,

First off, this should be moved to the Bar.

I'm currently in 5 games on AutoHost, but I'm retired and have the time. The oldest game is in it's 9th month and looks like it will last at least a year before it's over. If your trying to start a bunch of games all at the same time I think that would be asking for trouble. I try and spread the starts of games at least a month apart.

I know you didn't ask but here's my basic rules for multiple games.

1. make sure you have at least 3 hours to spend on the game per turn. If you have allies and are testbedding battles then you will need even more time per turn. Yesterday I had 25 incoming e-mails and one online chat about Stars, and that's on a slow Sunday.

2. After 2450 the games normally slow down to 3 turns per week, so you would think you have more time per turn, but I've found that the games gen in the same window of time. As I write this I'm going to be having 3 games gen in a 3 hour window, two are due back in 48 hours and the other 72. So that's one day per turn, NOT! as the other two games need attention also and each turn can take a lot longer.

3. Keep good notes, somethings it's 3 days from the time I finish one turn and see the next.

Edit: I do also have a real live, wife, dog, house etc, and play two to three rounds of golf each week. I just really don't like TV or reading.
