Ok to put it bluntly I dont like the VML version for one thing, the ship pictures are too dark. here is one thing that you should consider when you make more revisions, refits. Now SFC has em, here is what you could do with refits, say you have 100 NEW cruisers, all jihads and you have just researched juggernaut missiles, and short on number of new hulls that could be made, I wouldnt just delete the jihad design because you have 100 of em. With the refit option you could send those cruisers to your nearest starbase and apply refit, you do it ALLL the time with starbases, why not ships? now granted, if you didnt apply ceartin restrictions it would be all too easy create a new hull. say you have a frigate and armed with beamers, researched better beamers, with the refit you could apply ONLY those new beamers. same thing with engines, cloaks, jammers, minelayers, scanners and other things. what would be unique with the engines is RS is replaced with RS and with scanners, PS upgraded to better PS, HOWEVER could not change the non-PS and upgrade it to PS. and what about unique hulls given too you? it make it easier for an alliance, give 20 dreadnoughts to your new ally and let him build the weapons in. it would put less strain on your rescources and you would be able create a powerful new alliance
