This is David of the Quacks. I am posting info related to Spartins diplomatic relations with me before his leaving.

We wish to resolve how to handle him dropping, whether I am friend for a few turns or set to neutral (if I am not attacking him). I am suggesting we wait to hear from him for a day if possible.

A few turns back, Spartins were missing many turns and we assumed he had dropped out. Trog took a colony of his. Spartins suddenly reappeared and thought he was backstabbed.

It was explained that we thought he dropped and an arrangement was made where Trog gave back the colony and transfered over 29 smart bombers to Spartins and the turn after Spartin would make Trog friend again.

Spartins screwed up the next turn and ended up accidently destroying the smart bombers before they could transfer and fluke wiped out 200,000+ colonists in 2 of Trog's large freighters plus one of Trog's gated starbases.

Trog was mad at first but the matter was negotiated out so we would all stay friends. Here is Spartins email message on the matter:

1)

I screwed up. sorry. Been given bombers is sure preferable to just blow
them up. When I saw this bomber fleet at my HW I panicked and set Trogs
to enemy just to be sure. I didn´t think that battle preceedes fleet
transfer. About that starbase: even more Sorry! These ships were there
merely for penscan duty, and when I took this "wise diplomatic
precaution" I forgot about them. I am willing to compensate for this.
What about Trogs been granted access to unlimited mass stargates at
Raisin, Pearl and Gordon?

2)

MEEP.. MEEP.. MEEP.. 31 Budgie Jihad cruisers, 37 Beam cruisers and
auxilliary ships were sighted at Gordon by our heroic forces which were
blown to dust when they desperately and foolishly tried to engage the
enemy.

(later)...

It must read "Catnip" not "Gordon". Just where do I have my thoughts?
Maybe at the preparation for the math exam? Crap...
