I played the Dark Eldars.

Actually I was a last minute replacement for alexdstewert, who had put his money where his mouth was and fielding a -fm race.

Nice to know that.

I definately don't recommend factoryless and mineless.

Oh yeah, I should have played this race like an AR, but I'm not a very good AR player, plus you can't remote mine your HW.

I'd agree there strongly. I'm preparing for the primitive stars game and 've also tested a really fast-growing pure -f-m race (7% HE, ARM, 5/15/5 mines). Compared to other races I've tested it had a lot of tech levels, much more pop and resources, and comparable mineral output. Has taken twice as many planets the other races did. But when I put it in the universe with a "standard" -f race it just became a "stoned giant", when the -f race went after it's remote miners with X-ray DDs. It has fought for some time, but after it's mining planet was cut off and the remnants of the mining fleet brought to safety (HW) it's mineral output became 2/2/1 minerals from initiall 10 mines on it's HW, while the other race was producing about 100 of each from two planets. All it's big amount of pop and tech was useless without minerals, so it just became a matter of time when it would be bombed out.
BR, Iztok
