BET is hard on nubs - and hard on AMP.

Which means do you take the range 1 433 damage beamer? or stump up for the AMP? Or go for the Mega D and get a range advantage?

It opens up alot more end game questioning of your ship designs. It also makes the majority of tech you'll be using end game come alot earlier. BB's at tech 13 doncha know Wink

As for AR... I'm quite interested in playing AR with these settings!!!!!

Everyone has to take screwy hab/fact/mine settings. I can take my 25 eff with an AR race and then go either 19% growth 1/4 with grav immune or go to 17% growth bi-immune. Take GR and weapons/construction/energy cheap and then dump everything into energy for the first X turns.

I'm assuming that for AR races there will be other forced features??? I mean if IT and PP have to have ISB because of their obsession for orbital components - then what about those Ultra stations for AR? I hear those things have some really comfy couches!!!!!!!!!!
