Here's some ideas I had at work today that might be fun o experiment with later.

1. Change of bombing order.
The easiest to do, and won't break anything. Instead of doing all bombing by player number, calculate by bomb type combining bombs for all players by type. EG, all LBU bombs at once, then all smart bombs, then all standard bombs.

2. Defenses fire on bombers.
To make things more interesting / sadistic, suppose the defenses can deal damage to bombers immediately before bombs drop. Perhaps defense installations get a chance of damaging a bomber equal to the square root of the defense coverage percent, rolled for each defense installation. Damage would depend on the type of defense.
Edit: This could also happen for invasions, too! Meaning a real use for shielded/armored troop carriers...
