No freigher movement
All freighters banned from usefulness for the next five years. This is not our fault, it is the plagues that did it. We are only the messenger, the plagues are the mess maker.
It would be most risky to try to move ships loaded with any cargo. Undesirable things are sure to happen. Freight has been known to eject into space at the most inconvenient time. Freighters have been know to literally come apart at the seams. Ever try moving through a vacuum with a seamless freighter? Not a pleasant experience.

The favorite time warp plague returns yet again to bite the unwilling.

Oye. The dreadful cheapest engines return to the galaxy once again. Must be the fuel. Didn't we fix this problem the last time? Thank goodness for stargates and wormholes, eh? BTW if you exceed warp 5... bad, really bad things can happen...

Gate Lock
All gates once again inoperative. Do not try to gate. All ships gating will disappear.

What advice have we, only this:
If you wake up in the middle of the night, and discover that your
closet contains an alternate dimension?
Don't go in. You almost certainly will not be able to get back,
and alternate dimensions are almost never any fun. Remain calm
and go back to bed. Check your closet in the morning. If it
still contains an alternate dimension, nail it shut.

We know this is not much help with gates, but then closet doors are a sort of gate aren't they? And "will not be able to get back" is good advice though.
