I think that it gives me a good break from the routine of a turn. It also helps me to get into the game more if I find my care level is starting to drop.

I love roleplaying. The only problem is that time pressures usually keep me from really doing it right. The greatest roleplayer I've ever seen was Bob DeAngelis who played the Furries. It was worth getting into a game he was in just to get the messages.
