With college stuff, I don't know how you manage ONE, let alone two. Unless maybe you're doing it like I used to.

Once upon a time the Zoid was taking full time classes at a community college, and working full time as a security guard. Well, not really working. Very Happy I sat at the desk and filled out my logs, and did my homework there. I did NO homework at home.

When I wasn't at "work", or at school, I was home. PLAYING. Nothing else. Ok, a shower, a bite to eat, but mostly playing. But you gotta sleep sometimes too, right?

I slept during the 40 minute drive to work. Yes, I was the driver. Laughing Once I woke up and didn't know where the heck I was. I had passed my exit ramp 20 miles back and was in unknown territory when I woke up. No lie. Cool

Of course, now I'm a dumb truck driver, so you can see where such irresponsibility leads. I flunked college algebra.

I'm in 5. But I voted for 4.

The reason being that the 5h game is set to 72hour generation and it takes me only about 30 mins to do my turn... once every 3 days.

The ONLY reason I'm able to manage both my life and these 4 games is because they are all pretty much pre-2450... excluding 1 in which I have the vast empire of about 12 planets. Glorious huh?

Usually two, once a game gets in an advance stage (+2450) I often join a second one. So when the first is over the second one is around 2450. That way I have a game with a lot of "work" and a game that is just starting and is still fun to play Wink Laughing

Makes it hard sometimes since you have to switch from large (between 100 to 1000s) battles with nubians to tiny knife fights between 2-3 FFs Very Happy

Also I prefer teamgames but once in a while I like to play solo too, that's usually also the difference between the two games.

When I was at university I had about 4-5 games at the same time I think, had a lot more free time back then ...

Hm, make that 3, I'm duelling with Zoid, but I wouldn't count that as a game Wink

regards,
mch

My normal is 5 or 6....
Being retired makes it fairly easy to handle the load.

Currently 2 very early games... And would like more.
However no one seems to have time to play.

any offers......

Yeah, its funny when after playing Edena, with fights between fleets with dozens of warships and hundreds of chaff. Playing the duels i have, with mainline ships being colloidal DDs and FFs. I have time, perhaps I should play Chagarra, but then I must revote!

Wow, six games at the same time. Geeze, with working, a child on the way, and soon to be defending my thesis I am limited to playing in only three games (hosting two of them):
Battle for the Magellan Cloud: got my butt kicked until I only had one planet left.
Partners in Time: have not had my butt handed to me on a platter just yet, but am proving to be a bit of a dead weight to my partner.
Random Plagues: Really enjoying this game, the random plagues that affect the universe keep adding interesting twists to what I decide to do next.

Maybe once I am done my thesis I will be able to squeeze in another game or two but I might decide to spend my time programming, with my wife, or my new child. Wink

Shocked Whoa! What are you guys on? Shocked

I'm currently in one game. My concurrent max is 2 games, and I did not plan it properly like Micha did. I started them both at about the same time and wound up having a time management issue.

But then, I have the wife and children, plus work, and then there is church and my being a deacon and all, plus teaching the youth class on Wednesday nights, and did I mention I just started a new job with all the insecurity and stress from working with a whole new group of people after seeing all the same old people for 15 years. Crying or Very Sad

But I do like Micha's idea. I think I'll try it once my current game starts approaching mid-game status.

Snoozing in Dixie,
The Crusader

Nothing for now.
