Well, that's my race submitted on the second attempt. I didn't like the first race, and it's been a while since I played Stars! So I needed a few efforts to get a decent race together.

Should we leave galaxy clumping on?[ 16 votes ]
1. Yes, leave it on! Thumbs Up 4 / 25%
2. No, turn it off! Thumbs Down 4 / 25%
3. Either is fine with me! 8 / 50%

Good day to all of you!

Just a quick update on who I have race files from and to let everyone know that there is still space available. As I am not playing in this game I am not going to wade into the galaxy clumping issue at this time. I will create the game however it turns out. To facilitate that process I have created a poll to get everyone's thoughts quicker.

I have race files from the following people:
Icebird
oranges (need the password please)
Akapulko
Zor1
Eneasa
dexy
RSITALY
naz
cosmicthoughts
paco1600

Anyone else interested in joining this game you still have about a week to get your race files, passwords, and forum IDs to me. I am e-mailing Ron today to get an Autohost spot reserved for us and then early in the new year I will be submitting the game to him.

Have a great day, and a happy new year!

Good day to everyone in the Universe (no matter how long or short your day might be)!

I just wanted to let everyone know that there are only three spots left to be had in this game. The following is the list of people that I have race files from (if you have sent me a race file and your name is not on this list please contact me again).

Sulpholobus
Eneasa
dexy
RSITALY
naz
Zor1
Akapulko
oranges
Icebird
cosmicthoughts
paco1600
redgeopower
shiver

See you in the future... out among the Stars!

What would you like to see as the starting turn generation schedule?[ 14 votes ]
1. Every six hours New Shocked 1 / 7%
2. Every 24 hours (or earlier if everyone is in) 5 / 36%
3. At a set time every day Whip 0 / 0%
4. Every 48 hours (or earlier if everyone is in) Cheers 4 / 29%
5. On specific days of the week Teleport 1 / 7%
6. every 72 hours (or earlier if everyone is in) Sleeping 1 / 7%
7. Other (please post) Arguing 2 2 / 14%

Good day to all of you!

I have successfully received race files from the following people:
1: Sulpholobus
2: Eneasa
3: dexy
4: RSITALY
5: naz
6: Zor1
7: Akapulko
8: oranges
9: Icebird
10: cosmicthoughts
11: paco1600
12: redgeopower
13: shiver
14: tomasoid
15: Zoiker
16: Blue Turbit

17: Andrea

Unfortunately only sixteen people can be in the game at once. Therefore, Andrea's race file has been placed on a waiting list... and will only be able to be included in the game if someone informs me that they are not able to play before I submit the game files to Ron next week (I expect to submit them around January 5th).

As you can see by the poll one last question that I have is the turn generation schedule that everyone wants to start the game with...

Have a great day!

Come on... could it not be 24h within the first years? Smile Well... after all I won't be unhappy with 48, provided everyone turns in ASA they can Smile

Negative, Micha. This game was supposed to attract up to 16 players...

Ehem... I will be grateful if you won't forget that I am away until 7th January. Please don't schedule first generation before 20:00 GMT on that day Smile
Thank you Very Happy

a similar 'petition' Smile
I will be away from 6th January till 9th January. I would not like to skip turns. It will be marvelously if you postpone start to next week.

Can I suggest 24H for the first 20 or 25 years, and then switch to 48H?

Best choice. With earlier generations when everyone is in.

It would be hard for me because I'm out at weekends. I vote for 48 hours. However, can we speed up things by generating next turn as soon as all players submit turns?

If I had to vote for an "absolute" option, it would have been that one, but I know a lot of people just want to get cracking on with the game and not spend time waiting Smile

Yes it is! The files were sent to AutoHost about 30 seconds ago so I expect it to be setup by the end of the weekend at the latest. (Just a guess though). The delay was on my end, as I had not been organized enough when collecting everyone's race files and had to go back and figure out which e-mail addresses went with which races. Embarassed
