Yeah, the Navy thing was kinda obvious. Unfortunately, it seems the link explaining the ranks themselves is also dead.

But what I really wanted to know was the role of those "intermediate" ranks between CWO and Ensign here on AH.

Ranks is nice idea. More is always better.

Maybe if you want to do something about it ... drop cadets below warrant officers? Being warrant officer sounds somehow cooler than being cadet to me.

After graduating from Star Fleet Academy, they immediatly goto Ensign, and on up the officer rank structure. It looks like the question has been settled.. but just to add my highly opinionated

I think That thw fact that you have to "suffer" through the 4 cadet ranks will have a more motivating effect.. either that or the guy ups and leaves at Warrent Officer 3 for a few moths *cough*

Still, once I hit Cadet, I'll try and move through as fast as I can.. even IF that means actually adding content to my posts
