 Hi guys,

It has been a while since I have played Stars!. I was looking through some backup cds I made and found my Stars! directory backed up from a while ago. Started playing again and was pleased to see the SAH doing so well!

I was on the SSNG development team when it was in full swing development. I was working on the network client code. It was a real bummer when the project was essentially halted.

I also made a program called Territories which did a good job at mapping out Stars! games.

Anyway, it is good to be back and I hope to be involved in the Stars! community again..

Wow.. it has been a while... I will probably update my site in the near future and get Territories back up at the site.

I will be looking forward to playing a SAH game again. I am a little rusty (I used to be an avid player) so I will put myself in the beginner category again..

 Hey Ron!

Good to hear from you! I see that you guys have a really cool client now. It is great to see you guys have something working with the Autohost. I installed it and it ran ok, now if I can just find a beginner-intermediate game to play... I am so out of the loop that there is some new terms and restrictions on game play now that I am kinda lost Smile The only thing I remembered was the Chaff stuff...

Anyways, maybe I will get a game going myself with some others here.

 I think you might find quite a few people eager to jump into a game. I'm pretty certain that Alter Ego, who's hosting the beginner-intermediate games Plain Vanilla had a few people who he had left over that didn't get into the games who would love to be in something. I'm just not dedicated enough to host a game at the moment. Maybe in the future.

Nice to see another return player to the game.
