I'm really having a hard time why anyone wants to continue playing in this game. There is an alliance of 3 out of the 4 remaining players, and the one race not in the alliance is barely able to take on the weakest race in the alliance. This alliance is also supposedly for the remainder of the games so one of the alliance members will win the game.

I could understand continuing if my race was actually powerful enough to take on 2 or even three of the other races, but as you all seem to realize from the constant bullying tone of your messages you have a vastly superior military force.

Just claim victory and move on. I've already congratulated you once before. It's time to play a new game where there is some challenge remaining.

I hope I don't sound like I sore loser, because I'm not sore. It was my first pbem game and I wasn't expecting to make it this far. I learned a lot and hopefully in the future I can present a greater challenge. I just don't have the time to waste on a game that seems to be over.

Hey! Look at this way. If had a voting some turns ago (when Nexus was first) and the majority decided to finish the game and you would find out that Altoids were only few points in score behind Nexus. How would you feel about that? And now you say you have little chance to keep #1, but how you can be so sure if won't try. Where is player's spirit? Take a football team (real football i.e. "soccer"): a member of a team who is winning 1:0 gets a red card 5 minutes before the end of game and leaves the field. Does the team quit playing? No! They will do all their best to defend the score.

We have so many easy-quitters in this game and that is really not motivating factor. But there is so little left and we have a rare chance to try out tactics on so advanced game level that I am positive it could be educational and at least for that reason we should continue playing.

Feliks

Okay Cheekybuggers don't know what messages the other races have sent you, but although you haven't directly attacked or even threatened us, you've still retained the planet Spruance (previously a Luap planet), which Cheekybuggers attacked and subsequently bombed and which the Altoids took over.

It would be reasonable to suggest that this planet is Cheekybuggers by right.

It's also true that the Altoids are quite aggressively minesweeping in the Nowhere, Ozone, Waco area and furthermore are building a nice fleet on Sea squared.
Cheekybuggers have made numerous requests that you not do so and quite frankly don't know what else to do.

The Altoids actions seem to indicate that you want to provoke a war, but yet you deny this to be true.

It seems to be the Altoids intention to deliberately antagonise and when you get a response, you call it "bullying".

Cheekybuggers will continue to attempt to negotiate this situation but there may be a point reached where we have two choices:
1) We could just roll over and let you do to us whatever you like ! or
2) We could be tempted to go to war.

Okay we admit it, option no.#1 isn't really a choice.
I wonder what we'll do if this situation can't be negotiated ?

Yellow! May i comein here ...

I'm the weakest of the 3 vs 1 "Soccer team" ... um we win , can there be any other outcome? especially since a team breakup and reallignment was discussed and i was out voted. And i dare not "risk" another alliance backstab scandal (not thats an admiting guilt or anything ... its a long story)!

Steve ol buddy ol pal? negotiation ??? what negotiation ? are we not gonna attack him or not? ... In the soccer lingo? are we all gonna lie down in our own penalty boxes and close our eyes and pretend there is no need to kick the ball into the other goal?

I vote we end this game ... so we can start another ... I sure wanna change PRT Twisted Evil
