Killed a Shadallolves freighter and colony ship as they tried to attack one of my colonies. Reinforced that colony with another shipment of troops.

Two more destroyers commisions and will be bound for minesweeping duty at my colony @ Blush. EDog has a minelayer there so I'll have to get through the minefield and then destroy the layer. Not enough minerals to build a fort at Blush yet.

Got weaps4 this turn. Weaps5 next turn would be a huge bonus as then I have miniguns which will aid in sweeping mines immensely and give my warships a range of 2, not to mention beta torpedoes and bombs.

Economy is developing slower than I like -- spending too much on warships. I would also like to get a construction tech and some electronics. Is somebody going to be able to help me get to cons4, energy7, and elec7, or will I have to buy my own way there?

Got weapons 5 last turn. Thanks, Dan! Also researched to Bio 3 to get my TT working. Now I have 2 new yellows.

I've set up my wolf/lamb sites. I've given Dan attack ships and everyone else scouts to watch the battle. So Dan is the only person that needs to set his battle orders appropriately. Please do so, because next turn a bunch of energy tech ships will arrive at the sites.

I knocked out a Shadallolve scout sitting next to my homeworld. Lots of scouts flying around still.

I also got wep 5 (thanks Dan).
Looking forward to getting energy.
Andrew I can give you Const 4 if you want it (or 6 if you can wait a turn or 2). We can trade tech by pop dropping on each other on a small world - I will colonise Omega, you then send the M Freighter with some pop (say 30 tons) I will send a ship and we will take it in turns taking the planet off each other.
(Why do you need elect 7? -is that when you get penscanners? I nearly always play blind NAS).

Load up the Shade turn, you can see that the Riot Grrls are sending a minelayer toward McIntyre, and that they'll get there a turn before your privateer - TURN BACK! I don't see how you can grab that planet yet, until you get some destroyers in there to sweep.

I can also send you some elect 5 scrappers from the Shades if you need them.

Next wave of weapons lambs going in.. if Alan sends in energy lambs, you're going to only get one or the other, it'll be a pot shot. So if you definitely want one more than the other you should move a scout or something.

Preferred tech order: weaps5, const4, energy7, elec7.

I've played an NAS variant of this race, plus others, and I hate flying around blind all the time. Knowledge is power.

Thanks for the heads up on McIntyre. I'll send a freighter down to Omega to do tech trading.

So I guess the question is, do I NOT send my energy ships to the wolf/lamb sites this turn so that Andrew will have a better chance of getting weapons, or does Andrew pull away from the other sites so that others can get Energy?

I would like energy Very Happy
I now have wep 5 I can get const 6 myself and I am planing on prop 5 myself too (need those gates).
by 17 const 5, 18 prop 5, 19 const 6. 20 I would like to start producing Croby frigates - I might have picked up 4 levels of energy by then (if lucky).
I can then churn out 10 frigates a turn for at least the next 7 turns (when I will run out of Iron) from my homeworld, making a respectable force to run off and cause merry hell to the north (hitting McCellan, Norm, True Faith and then Canis Major - Dans scout should tell me if anything is heading my way).
Use of a gate should give me a force of 30 Frigates with the other 40 trailing along in 10s one year behind.
