Thanks to Paladin I finally got Extreme Borders to show me something useful. Here are my initial colonization plans. According to EB they are all between 50% and 80% for the Protons.

Radian
McClellan
Mitchell
Montcalm
Putty
Wingnut

Please let me know if this conflicts with anyone else's plans

Thanks,
Ozone

I have no problems with you taking those planets. Cool

The planets that I am currently enroute to colonize are:
Castle and Corner

I would also like to colonize Sapphire as it is an 81% (91%) planet... but, as it is 498 light years from my homeworld if it suites someone else who is closer they should take it. I will be trying to colonize South East of my homeworld to help fill the gap in our front lines.

Ozone,

Since you have cheap engines, you will have to manually with each lamb, adjust the warp speed down to warp 6 to prevent your cheap engines from possible failing. This would be particually ugly if another player happen to have a ships at you HW, and the presence of your lamb would cause combat to occur.

So you'll have to check the speed of all your lambs after you give them orders to attack the lambs to verify the speed is warp 6.

I have colonized Double Tall Skinny (fearlessly I charge into the Blue territory!), Curley, and am making for Blush.

I have colonized Lambda (although I only have 2500 colonists there now and my transports with colonists will not arrive for 3 turns). So I too have bravely sallied well into Blue territory. I think Lambda is about 150 lys over the line so it will be like a dagger in their side if I can hold it.

Eramus and Hummingbird are also green for me and if I can colonize all three, it will provide us with a good beachhead into their territory. However, it will come with a fight, for I believe that Hummingbird is a very green world for the Atredies. Let's hope he's not too aggressive. If he's not quick, we will secure all three with SD minefields

I am sending out a colony ship(2408) to colonize True Faith. Then in the coming years I will be building up my front line colonies while looking to expand to the South East of Arafat to help fill our hole.

My scouts have just scanned Graceland! Take a look at the data files and see if the planet is any good for you! It is a -1 (45%) planet for me. Hopefully it is a better planet for someone else and they can get it colonized in the next little while.

In an attempt to tick off our opponent and provice us with a beach head in part of the gap I am planning on sending a colony ship to Skynard if it turns out that it is still unoccupied next year.

I have colonised Bone but I do not think it is that useful for me - it's only about 5% from the center for someone with centered habs, so it would probably be more useful for them.

I have privateers now and I will start expanding as rapidly as I can. I have a colony ship heading towards Replica. Other candidates are:

Foresight
Crazy Horse
Dimple
Redemption (but extreme habs)
Genoa
Fleabite
Timbuktu
Io
Misery
(getting farther away now, towards the south)
Dog House
Slag
Tirpitz
Cramp
Mobius
Moltke
Challenger
Leaky Pipe

That's all I have time for, but I'll colonise the higher ones of those first, and try to push for the further south ones as well.

That's fine - they're both low value according to the great XB map Paladin gave me. I was using XB the same way to find planets, but for some reason, it's thinking my hab is centred. So Ball Bearing shows as a higher hab one than Misery next to it. Saturn comes up as habitable as well on my XB although on close inspection it isn't at all. Maybe something to do with Furfunzel doing all the scouting?

I have 'Show Est Hab' for my race showing. Should I have some sort of options enabled to get the correct hab ranges put in?

What you need to do, is when you have Xtreme Borders open and all the data loaded in, click on Data and then on Empire Statistics. Select your race from the list, then click on the Race Information Tab. Once there, click on each of the habitability values (low and high) and enter the actual values for your race. If you click save before you close this window it will save these actual habitability values for you so that you do not have to set them next time you load your data into Xtreme Borders. At this point the Show Est Hab> button should work correctly for your race.

I'll be taking these.

Fluffy
Provo
Tierra
Harlequin
Gargantua

For the Protons -- I'll have a gate at Toroid in ~3yrs, so you should send a fleet to nab Graceland if it's green for you. If not, I'll take it, but for defense purposes it would be better for you to own.

Actually, I mentioned quite a while ago that I needed Saphire as a stepping stone breeder in that sector since it is over 90% for me. While I won't e able to get there for 10 - 12 years, I would really like it if could move your colonists to the planet next store that is pretty decent for you. Plus there is a great planet in my area that is just ripe for you called Kepler. Lincoln has a gate this now and wobbly will have one at the end of this turn so please send a colonizer and colonists. One of your any/300 gates in my area wouild be great when you are able to build them.

Thats fine - I will keep Saphire warm for you until you arrive.
Sorry if I missed your message about it eariler. Once you have your gate at wobbly up I will take Kepler.

I would like to colonize the following planets please let me know if anyone has a problem with any of these.

Leonardo
Lithium
Petra
Ursa Major
Moltke
Resistor
Timbuktu
Beethoven
Tigers Tail
Pop
Lavacious
Worm
Graceland

It does not appear that anyone is in route to any of these at the moment.

I have colonisers going towards these planets:

Petra - value 71%.
Timbuktu - value 79%

They will arrive in 2424.

These ones are habitable but too distant and not high enough value. Feel free to take them.

Tigers Tail - 43%
Ursa Major - 55%
Moltke - 47%
Resistor - 48%

Remember, I have a 100/250 stargate at Lekgolo - I'm closest to Graceland so use that if you like.

No planets besides Bone are naturally habitable to me in the cluster around Graceland so please start filling them up as you like!

I am going to start packet-forming Dimple from Epsilon so that I can inhabit it in a few turns.

Ursa Major is a great planet for me that I have a Santa Maria heading to (after a brief pause at Forest for gas). If you could leave that for me, I would appreciate it.
