I agree with those who say "it depends on the situation" in regards to which is best. Pessimist that I am, I find it far easier to say which is the LEAST favorite thing you get from the MT.

Personally, I hate when he gives me a ship or two, taking up a ship design slot. I never know what to do with the stupid things and would rather just have my design slot back, AND the 5k of boranium I gave him. He can keep his ships, I'd rather have anything else.

I'M NOT AN EXPERT AND I'M OFTEN PROVEN WRONG. TAKE THAT INTO CONSIDERATION WHEN YOU READ MY POSTS.
Math? Confused Ummm, sure! Nod I do FREESTYLE math.

I we a question:
Just received the Jump gate and never had it before.
With the Jump gate, can a NON IT gate minerals? What about POP?
ie: load cargo, move to deep space then jump to a gate within distance.

yeah thats right. The jump gate means you can gate any cargo - but it takes 2 years, not 1.

VERY handy if you're AR.

I think the MT items I've found the most useful over the last few years has to be in this order.

1) Hush-a-boom - A late gateable B52 bomber cannot be underestimated
2) Alien Miner - It's so cheap, it makes mining simple.
3) Enigma Pulsar - Adds the Jets onto the speed of the craft and allows for slots to be used for other things on ships like the Nubian.
