Reference has been made to our scanning ability - perhaps not as good as the comment implied - but we do observe much. One thing we see is the pop of the Fides - over 5.2m at the last count. Some planets will have grown since then and there are an unknown number of planets that we have not seen at all yet. Only they know the full figure. Who can beat that level of pop we wonder? We are certainly far short of that. Does it sound like the pop level of a poor defenceless race being picked on by the Pilgrims?
We hope the message is now getting through. We see that the Bugs are unconvinced by the Goffs reasons for assaulting the Chyortoids.

If Fides not build factories? Then pop is all they have, they are not so fearsome. But Fides could be heavy factories and Rank 1.

Bugs not convinced that Pilgrims for Peace. Bugs heard rumors that Pilgrims very aggressive laying minefields. Bugs know SD minefields can be used in offensive ways.
Bugs are not on either side of Pilrgim/Citadel and Fide/Goth conflict (yet?). Bugs will continue to gather accurate data before making decisions that could potentially harm our Cute Little Larvae.
