 Life has been turbulent over the last few years and I'm finding myself back in a healthy place and able to once again and share some love to Stars!!

How is life in the Stars! community? I'm not seeing much activity in the Autohost and am curious what others have been up to.

I'd like to try my hand at some duals or larger games as time allows. Any news from the Jeffs or any of the other Stars! Clones?

 Glad you're at a happier time now.

I believe the Stars! Community is almost dead, nothing heard from Jeff McBride, and work on Stars! clones mostly stalled/stopped. I guess the average Stars! player is aging, and thus has more RL stuff going on and many more new shiny games to try out.

 I hope to age back into playing Stars! I haven't played for 5 years and, coincidentally, my kids are about that old. I think in a few years, I'll be able to play again.

 I can understand. Father with two kids myself. There are also a wealth of other 4x games similar to Stars!

Hoping to get back into the swing of it and get the next generation hooked or at least shoehorn some friends.

Already have a blitz style game in the works as well. What kind of clone would get others interested you think?

A few more years and my brother and I can add a new generation! We have be careful they won't be spoiled by these newfangled eye candies.
