Eventually, yes. Still several versions behind on the forum software. I believe 3.0.7 is the current version.

I can add a command on the server side to auto rewrite URLs if needed.

The Stars! Wiki is more problematic, as its version of mediawiki is so old that it cannot run on current php and/or mysql versions. Its been running on its own dedicated VM for years. Sad nmid has offered to host it, but I don't know if he can handle it in its current old state.

I can spend the time required to get a hang of things.
Just get me a backup and I'll figure out how to upload it plus see if I can update it as well.

All starsautohost.org content moved, DNS points to new server.

I thought the wiki was working, but doesn't appear to be working correctly now.

Need to test .x file uploads, I might have to configure something in PHP for that...

Also, not sure yet if outgoing email is setup correctly yet.

Sending email out seems to work. I'm getting some indications that the DNS change propagation is going slowly, so some users may not be able to get to the new server yet.

I just uploaded a turn in FFA. Seems to work from what I can tell. When you have time, take a peek and make sure my x file is on the server.

I see ffa.x5 uploaded, with a file size of 3282 bytes

Ron,

I am sure that I speak for everyone in saying thanks for all the hard work getting everything moved and working!

So what is next? Can I send a message to the FFA players to finish their turns and upload? Do you need to do any testing? Is there anything that you need help with?

We need to try a turn gen in a game. Do we setup a test game, or try a gen in an existing game?

Nmid and I are throwing together a quick test game. We will email you the files. Two races each. We will see if we can get through 10 or so turns in the 24 hours after it is up...

That was very quick. The game is up. Loaded in my first turns (duh I did not check the file sizes... will do that for the first few turns....). Unfortunately I need to leave for a meeting in 15 minutes (be gone about 1.5 hours), but we should be able to get at least a few turns done today, in between actual work things that I get paid for. Sometimes it is nice to be self employed!

We ran a quick test, game with 5 races. Upload passwords randomly generated, worked find to download the turns. Turn upload worked fine. Turn generated fine. Change password upload worked fine. Not a really thorough test, but zero problems.
