Hi!
When searching for "fair" planet distribution, I used uni def file with my victory conditions (actually NO VC). That means the game will NOT declare a winner (and scores will not become public), when two of the following conditions will be meet:

--Own 60% of all planets
--Achieve tech 24 in 6 fields.
--Exceed second place score by 100%
--Winner must meet 2
--At least 100 years must pass

I'd like to apologize for this overlook, and at the same time ask you if any of you has a problem with this unintended change?

Hi!
A player asked for all turn files after the game will end, so he could make some animations out of it. I've asked our kind admiral Ron for solution and he has set up the AH for this game to keep ALL turn files, not just the last 5. When the game will end, just kindy ask him for files and he can provide them with minimal work required. Cheers

I have a question in the victory conditions topic:

Are we still playing against former victory conditions, but the winner will be declared "manually" or are we playing to the last race alive?

I'd guess the former - a player who meets two of the three victory conditions can report victory to the host, who will declare the winner upon verification.
Of course, Last One Standing (aka Total Domination) remains another viable victory condition, as it were.

I just noted that the game parameters are "NO RANDOM EVENTS" while random events had to be allowed.
This is not a minor issue, since it is a serious disadvantage for the already weak he.

It does change the game but do we have a HE race playing?

Furthermore, the game is more predictable without the mt.

8 players
-Medium / Dense / Distant
-Acc BBS

Isn't this exactly what we have in our current game?

That's exactly the mistake I've made. When I've edited my .DEF file for this game I checked what was specified. The catch is "Random events ON" was NOT explicitly specified, so I skipped it ("Okej, only AccBBS to set") and the flag for "NO" remained in my .DEF file. I apologize again. Embarassed

We just lost AR race. Dead
Main reason: not a single breeder in ~70 planets scouted (1-in-4 hab desiged, 1-in-6 actual). His best planet would be 88% with available terra 11/7/7 done, second best 73. Crying or Very Sad But with grav immunity he'd fare significantly better.

A suggestion for future ATSR games: allow AR one immunity. It's penalized enough with early lack of minerals. Don't cripple it by taking away its only advantage - good early tech.

I agree with you. maybe even some change about energy res for the poor ar.
Even he should be allowed one immunity at least.
I am thinking of banning another race too in future atsr. More issues coming out while playing, we'll write about it when the game is over - I don't wanna spoil this game.

I am confused. There is no "random events ON" option in game set up. The check box is "random events OFF". Therefore, if no option is mentioned, it should default to on which is what we have.

I want to make sure this clear since the first MT has shown up.
