Congratulations to the winners. Very good game and very demanding.

Hosting was very good. Game was on hold not very often, and gen schedule changing was quite flexible for all.

We played SS/SD combo. Short version. Tactical problem for opponents but eco weak. We hoped for more loot, we were blocked efficiently by opponents and we lost in prolonged fight. Happends.

Longer version.
Early game was sweet - we were able to grab enough turf to secure some juicy greens. Only minor encounters were Spatha/Cuspis(WM/SS) in south, and Trader/Hitch(JOAT?/WM) in north. Our first mistake was to concentrate on south rather than north. I was obsessed to retrieve LGM1 from Cuspis/Spatha and i did not see what is going on in the north - that allowed Traders/Hitch to grab near all planets in north without too much effort and also they trashed Undead/Forsaken(SD/IS) baddly, making more room for Elwood/Jake and themselves. My bad.

Having no possibilities to hit west we leaved Elwood/Jake alone. Second mistake. We planned all ISes as our priority targets but we were forced to concentrate on Trader/Hitch and on annoying Cuspis/Spatha. But war on both sides isnt funny at all - as i spended one full decade repositioning fleets from north and south i noticed, that this game is heading into dead end for me. Yep, we inflicted lots of kills on advancing fleets, many enemy ships were destroyed on our minefields but despite we killed more ships that our enemies killed ours, we still did not get any territorial gains. Third mistake. Advice for beginners - make some plan and stick to it.

Late game. Mistakes caused lagging behind in techs, so we were forced to only block our neigbours while researching W and CON needed for fair fight. We started to make some progress in north after Elwood/Jake concentrating on Cuspis/Spatha....we were too late for about 20years. We failed to get nubs, while everyone around us had them. It is quite difficult to match few hundreds of nubs with rougues alone - even Arm armed. Espetially that this nub horde arrived via wormhole near our HW....
Game ended - and guess what....Loucipherians finally reached CON 26!And since Elwood/Jake had about 500 active nearby(with unknown number of them as reserve) - well, that clearly show how this game should be played.

BTW - no single MT in entire game. Unusual.
