when i played my first game the AI only sends out one colony ship at a time, two times they got stuck Surprised the AI wouldn't send a new one until i destroyed each one. this made the game super easy, and i think the loraxoids are normal difficulty...

why is this? why do they send one at a time? why do they send them so far and then get stuck?



Drill on the sun?! I'd rather freeze on Pluto than fry on the sun! What? How much minerals did you say? Well, Since you put it that way...

Rototills (alien farmers plows?)
Macinti (alien bacteria?)

That listing contains a small error: there's no JoaT AI. Rolling Eyes Their PRTs are:

Macinti: AR
Turindrone: SS (Super Stealth)
Robotoid: HE
Cybertron: PP
Rototill: CA
Automitrons: IS

You don't choose AI racenames at game start, you can only choose AI types. Your Loraxoids probably were Turindrones, but other games may have a different AI type also named Loraxoid.

See above. Work at computer Also, only the HE and AR AIs like to expand and colonize at speed. The others like to sit and expand just a bit, and thus pose only a modest challenge to human players. The PP AI likes to shoot packets that might be dangerous until it runs out of minerals. The SS AI has a penchant for surprise attacks and ambushes. And that's pretty much all. If you want a challenge, try a Robotoid or Macinti AI: their colonizers have never been known to be slow! Dueling

so I guess the loraxoids (turindrones) are not good at piloting colony ships lol Wink maybe that's one of their "Stupid AI moves"

that gave me an idea for a hilarious scene:

"captain, We're lost! we are almost out of fuel!"

loraxoid Captain: "continue on current course"

"captain, we are out of fuel and now stuck!"

loraxoid captain: "lets not send a signal, lets hope the human player using the Draconian race does not find us! and that's an order!"

"but captain!"

Loraxoid captain: "I said that's an order!"

captain! torpedo in space bearing x/y 050 Z 000"

Boooooooom!

For a quick round of "colonizer shootemup" play a small uni against the HE AI. You lose if they manage to land on any planet closer than 120 lys to your HW. Twisted Evil
