 Peace & Quiet (NOT), the first game in this series, is now over. It was won by Altruist with his race The Peacekeepers in the year 2457

So it's on to Basic04, The Fast & the Smart.

Small, Normal, Distant game. (minus 1 planet for the observer race)(I may move planets during the setup, if so the first playing year will be 2401 and production queue will be empty)
Accelerated BBS Play and No Random Events are checked.

Victory conditions: Exceeds second place score by 100% and own more then 60% of all planets or the other players concede the game.

Playing conditions:
All Players must be set to Enemy in Player Relations and All Battle Orders 'Attack Who' must be set to 'Enemies'. The Observer race is set to Neutral.
No Tech Trading: Tech must be earned by research or valid warfare.
No Alliances: Pre-Game or During the Game. Therefore no coordination between players.
Communications is All Silence, All the time, with the exception of 'In Game Messages sent "To: Everybody"'.
Beginning schedule is 5 times a week MTWTF at 0 GMT or a time to be decided by the players or all turns are in.
Each Player gets 2 48 hour game pauses that they can use if needed.
We will slow down to 3 times a week(MWF) at the request by any player asking to, after the year 2430.

Allowed Exploitable Bugs/Features
Chaff.
Split Fleet Dodge.
Repair after gating.
I check for all other know or unknown features. You should know that I do check every player, every turn.

I will be needing password protected race files and the host must always have the current password.

Race restrictions: Players wishing to play the JoaT or CA PRTs must leave at least 180 points in the race wizard and JoaT could not take NAS. HE -f are banned !!

You cannot make war against the Observer Race. It is there to protect against a bug that sometimes happens with this game setup, The Player 1, Fleet 1 bug and for the use of the host.

 Count me in. My turns in Homeless are pretty simple now that I'm actually at war (I guess that makes sense for a WM race) and the pace is pretty slow now. Also, I am going to have a little free time again for at least a couple of months - can't have that.

One out of five dentists recommends occasional random executions to keep the peasants cowed and servile.

I'm not a hard task master, right now I have two races I'll check in a few minutes. I would like to have the game files to Ron by the end of the week and start on the game on Monday or so.

This series of games, with only 4 players can go fast, I think one game when from first posting on the forum to playing 2401 in 7 or 8 days.

Can some1 remind me what was the algorithm to do that ? Smile

Open up a new Race Wizard and start from scratch entering your information, works every time.
