I resubmitted my turn after the restore, per the instructions that were posted on the SAH page at the time. I did not change any orders. I just uploaded the very same .x file.

Players who have scans of my fleets in the year in question can verify after the new turn gen that nothing has changed.

The host emailed the two of us, asking the same question.

What we need's a few good taters.

Actually, it could be a browser caching issue. The ctrl-shift-r force-refresh would only affect the items on the page itself, not the .m file, which is merely a target of a hyperlink on the page. Depending on your browser and your caching settings, if the timestamp of the "new" .m file was older than the "old" .m file, your browser may have been too smart for its own good and given you the cached version.

I usually download the file directly from the SAH email.

What we need's a few good taters.

As I haven't heard back from Ron (and we always have the backup if we need it) I'm going to change Coyote's upload password - download the m and xy to a spare vm, verify that the orders exist, upload and gen.

Then HOPEFULLY we'll see some action!

We can go off hold... was hoping only he would have to submit this year's turn, but ofcourse, everyone will have to submit new .x files now.

By the way - 50 hour gen is for the first year or so - until I get my head around whether I can leave my race alone safely (and not have some AI come and take out the nearby homeless races with my wildly superior tech...

Hi ,

every player should delate the m and x file and take the new M -file for year 2435 . If you dont do this you will be in the wrong game.
