A shout of encouragement; a cheer, which can also be interpreted to mean "may [idea or person] live forever"

Just a regular local word made more famous in India's independence movement..

Okay, talked to Ron. BeeKeeper didn't send a player list with the files so he hasn't been able to host the game, I'm going to try to get this all sorted out, BeeKeeper check your email please if you're reading this, and the emails from Ron may have gone into your spam.

yep, Ron likes his player lists Nod

Include a list of player's first names, email addresses, and race names in game play order. Please use the following format for easy data entry:

Player1=Ron,email@address.goes.here,The Swords
Player2=Ken,email@address.goes.here,The Dragons
etc.

the only space is in the race name

In case BeeKeeper has gone on vacation or something, could you guys email me ( ksmith3921 [at] gmail.com ) your entry for the player list as Ashlyn demonstrated above my post. I'll send the info the Ron as soon as I have it so we can get things moving.

You can find your player number via the M file you were sent, for example, mine was M4 so I am player 4.

Yep, I just heard from him so hopefully things will be going soon! So I don't need that player info from anyone now.

Sorry for the foul-up folks. I have now sent the correct e-mail off to Ron. I have done this game setting up correctly in the past but on this occasion my brain was taking a vacation.

I've got a bit of a hitch. When I try to upload my turn, I get an invalid password prompt. I've tried both my race password and my forum login password.

Your turn upload password is: ????

Normally 4 lower case letters & numbers

Ahh, that must be the problem. I didn't get an email with the turn file and whatnot. I had forgotten all about those. I wonder if my email address has a typo. It should be aprahanti@gmail.com

yea, I didn't get my password too.

I think a few races got their passwords, but seeing my race name isn't com, I assume something went turtle.

One solution is that laserbeard could enter the host utility and change the upload passwords for us.. but I would prefer to use the original password.

I think I will go and hide in a corner...

But this was the text I sent to Autohost:

Player1=gjarvie,gjarvie@tesco.net,The Zetetics
Player2=LittleEddie,ed.joybells@gmail.com,The Hoplite
Player3=Nmid,nomoreidsleft@gmail,com,The Nmids
Player4=LaserBeard,ksmith3921@gmail.com,The Potables
Player5=aprahanti,r.swamp@gmail.com,The Aprahanti
Player6=ssampson88,scott_sampson@hotmail.com,The Wretched

It looks like I used the wrong e-mail address for at least two players. I am not sure what is the best solution but at the very least can players identify any errors and post them here.

What this has taught me is that it would be very worthwhile having a format for players to use to send in their details to the person checking race files. For example,

player name, e-mail address, race name (singular), race pass word.

The first 3 terms are what are sent to Ron.

Thanks BK, I think we're good. We're only waiting for aprahanti and gjarvie to turn in. I've sent aprahanti a new password and an email to gjarvie to make sure he has access as well.

Having done it myself, I know it takes a lot of effort to set up the universe and send out the player list.. It's fun at the same time though Smile.

Thanks again.
