If by refer you mean the lists of referred users on our profile pages, you don't deliberately, whenever you post a link to HWF by copying the browser url when you're logged in it contains your userid encoded in it so that when people follow your link and then sign up, FUDForum knows they followed your link to get here Smile

After following the referrer links from the wiki(which are different, they're sent by your browser and indicate the web address you came from) I can tell you that for HWF addresses the userid part is the rid= , the th= part is the thread, ans the S= part is the session. Its also useful sometimes to change the t= from t=msg to/from t=tree to link to particular messages within a thread without having to change your settings(you only get the message link in tree mode)
