Thanks, but I'm not the one to contact about bugs. I'm sure Jeff Hoyt will see the bug report, and you can send him a Private Message (jchoyt) here on the forum.

Any link with library.southern.edu/stars in it can be changed to starsautohost.org and should work.

So for this case use: http://starsautohost.org/ahc/ahc.html, which redirects you to http://autohostclient.sourceforge.net/

[Edit - comma moved out of the url]

OK - I have a fix to deal with the recent (ok, not so recent) changes Ron made. I need beta testers, though. Please email me at jchoyt at gmail.com

Just released a new version that works with the download passwords Ron had to implement. There is an outstanding problem with UNC drives, but if your version of Stars is local, you should be fine. Get the latest from http://sourceforge.net/projects/autohostclient/

Hi Jeff,

question: if you click "Launch Stars!", is it supposed to open the Stars! turn of that game or to only open Stars! (that's what it does on my pc). Stars! files and Stars! .exe are not in the same dir, in case that has something to do with it.

It is supposed to open your turn. It's OK for the files to be in different directories. Can you email me at jchoyt at gmail.com and tell me what directories your files are in, and if the file systems are all local (no network drives).

Thanks,

Jeff
