And if someone knows or has Ken's email could they please PM it to me...
And if anyone out there is working with this project please PM me too we need to colaborate...

I Also like what I see in nova, Ken has done a good job so far , good clear readable code well documented/commented no complex imports and mishmash of other codelibs etc... its a pleasure sniffing through it (something which i find is rather tedious if not your own) Many thanks for releasing the source dude...

The code dump in sourceforge compiles but does not run too well, I've been fixing stuff as i go , a biggie is there is something wrong compiling it in c#-express (i'll look at that laters) I compile in C# professional edition and get much better results (could also be the new rtl), but there are still some bugs such as the starbase's docksize being 0 and thus not being able to build ships, and the colony module missing ... so reading all the old posts I get the idea that the July2008 source code dump might be old... hence the main reason i'm asking here as i dont want to redo something that might have been addressed allready...

That being said , watching with sadness no-one ever completed any attempt at a stars 3 sort of thing so i wont be saying anything more on this subject cept for this : Die hards stick around you might find something runable in time, how long i dont know... seems we humans are such busy creatures... and some serious help will do wonders , I hope ken has not given up... he just did'nt get enough help imho.

Starting a Stars! clone is easier than finishing it. Sad There's been several uncoordinated solo efforts that have arrived halfway, whereas one coordinated effort between several developers could perhaps have succeeded. Deal

That said, good luck! Very Happy

So many Stars, so few Missiles!

Seems to me that that one coordinated effort permanently stalled and some of the solo developers have gotten far further before real life caught up. Smile

I meant an hypotethical coordinated effort. More coordinated, between more developers, perhaps. Deal
