Stories about finished games |

I guess most of us read the New Games Announcements (even when not having time to play) just out of curiousity.
Isn't it a bit sad that we mostly don't get to know what happened to those games?
What about, instead of just closing the threads, moving them to the Bar therefore players can post what's going during the game or at least make some final comments about the game after its finished?
Obviously this could be done just by creating a new thread but it looks like most players (same with me) shy away from opening a completly new thread just to post their remarks.

Well, what about the idea of MOVING new game threads to the bar instead of closing them? Probably about the same work, isn't it?

Hm, IMHO a New Game Announcement and a game story are two different things, each belonging in it's own place. I'd rather not see the two mixed up, especially if you see that some New Game posts go often past 20-30 messages, some even more than 100. Imagine if even one player posted his story but all others making their own comments (and comments on comments) ... sure all messages about the game would be in one thread but it would be a *mess*. I like the simple rule: when the game is filled/started it's locked, it works good that way.
Second there is often a lot of work put in a Game Story (usually the reason why they don't show up much), it deserves it's own spot, in the Bar, heck, if there were more I'd even say give them their own sub forum!
For starters it might be a good thing for hosts to start the habit of letting the community know when and how a game has ended ... Possibly in a sub forum "Finished Games" and than players could post their stories/comments ...

I think the best option for this would be to add a forum 'Finished Games' below the 'New Games Announcements' forum. This way, when a game finished, anybody who had played in it would just create a thread with the game name and post a sysnopsis from his perspective. Other players who had then been in the game would also then simply post more in the same thread if they chose to do so.

Though we often ask how and why, we must also do to get the answers to the questions.Report message to a moderator

There are more game stories in the private forums, though can't move them ...

But you can post a link to them...
