Cheat or Trick!

Maybe most of you have read the cheat/trick thread about scrapping old designs and editing them so enemies see the old design but meet the new one... (check for academy if you dont know what I am talking about)...

For our game it should be speciefied if this is treated as trick or cheat, and after some thinking and reading I think we should treat it as a trick - or lets say: it will not be punished and if someone makes use of it deliberately everyone has to decide for himself if he feels it is honorable or not - but there will not be consequences by the "host" in this game.

2 reasons:
1.) it can happen accidently
2.) many people consider it a trick

So - for the ones who read the thread and wonder what it means for our game, then be ensured: nothing.

Actually, this did already happen in the game. It's like you have to sacrifice one chaff from time to time to get the info updated... No big issue when it comes to ship designs. Because of a different weight of the ships, it's usually easy to notice what's going on otherwise. It's somewhat of a larger problem for starbases, if they chance a lot - some ppl have only 2 hulls, so replacing usually makes this trick work. Again, one chaff from time to time helps a lot.
