After 40 turns, I don't remember even one turn where someone missed his turn... So this game scores 520 out of 520 in terms of player dedication. This is very high. Fighting everywhere... Seems like a great setup! Good Work, Robert!

Rocks is the word.
Bloody big rocks, hitting my planets !
Pity I can't shoot the beggars down.

BTW, I think you need new guidance systems on your minelayers.
What on earth was one doing there ?
It was only an accident that I found it.
And, of course, only an accident that I blew it up !
(or not, depending on who is reading this ;¬)

Yaka.

I guess this posting was right on time, as this turn was missed by the Muppets! In case the host gets a complaint message like "the server was down": the server was indeed down. From about 5 minutes before the update until about 15 minutes after. On the other hand: I guess that the Muppets really take some risk by getting into the habbit of submitting juuuuust before the update.

Now about mine layers... Game ethics don't allow for sharing anything, so the Bukane hereby don't even acknowledge the very existance of those. Smile

Same for the Rocks... Are ppl really throwing Mineral Packets? Now that would imply N9 or some PP race... Hmmm.

It was down at least 30 minutes before gen. As for getting my turn in close to gen time: it's either submitting within 8h of the gen meaning little time to communicate with my ally, or submitting about half an hour before gen which is the next occasion I can get online ...

Getting back on topic: I'm enjoying the game as well. Nod

Aha!

Well, as seen in another threat, you submitted your turn to the game host. So nobody should have problems with regenerating the turn - clear case of no cheating. For the next turn we have 2 days anyway so if we get the corrected turn a little late it's no hazzl.

Some variation would be nice though Smile
Don't always have to wait for confirmation from your ally, just assume he will do what you tell him to do Poke

Sending the file to AE was a good move. Nod
He can easily do the regen without needing to have a long discussion about it (hint hint) Asleep at cptr

edit: fix quote

MT? No. Look at map. You see? No MT there. He said that he needs to fix the engines. Will come after regen.

Well this is the game I like to play: battles everywhere, busy on all fronts, good situation despite the very bad starting position...
Yes - I like it... Also due to the one-ally rule not much talking necessary and I can (well.... could) concentrate on the game... Also I realize I do not play against newbies any more - has a very different touch when you run into traps you have not set up for you often Surprised

If everybody enjoys the game as I do then we are a very lucky bunch of Stars!-players here... Very Happy

Better? Nod

I layed the whip over my Muppets, made them work faster ... disturbingly enough some of them liked it ... Confused Seeing a pig and a frog in leather and having a smoke afterwards ... <shudder>

I was pleasantly surprised to receive my turn this morning.
As usual my jolly demeanour was ruined shortly afterwards by actually opening the darn thing.

At least the large rocks have stopped, for now.
However this turn, a bit like the proverbial London bus, I am expecting two or three all at once.

What a pity for your population. Rocks can give an awful spectacle, especially when they can watch the impact from orbit. Rolling Eyes

I've recently jumped two places in the rankings.
So, I'm wondering who could be doing worse than I am ?

Maybe it's all those capital ships bumping up my score Rolling Eyes

Yeah... My general advice to all of you:

If you want to get rid of your ally, do it fast. Very fast, or Atari is going to get up to 9th place.
