Well, it does mention a CEO having a Claim Adjuster at his disposal.

As opposed to the Claim Adjuster having a CoH at his disposal? Laughing

And if that wasn't good enough, the concept of leveraging gaming environments to improve business performance is just awesome. Cool Disco Cheers

This is a secure page, for some reason the best summary of the device is in their store. It is an e-ink based reader/writing pad, and it looks like it will be the best of the breed for a while.

Looks like the reader mentioned above is going to stay way too pricey for awhile. Still 649 Euros for it's public release.

In the meantime, check out The Ultimate Showdown of Ultimate Destiny - a flash music video, basically.

Many interesting things at http://www.castlemolds.com, particularly in the Design Derby section. One especially twisted entry is a 3D model of an M. C. Escher lithograph - http://www.voidgamers.com/click/HirstArts/HADD7/b.100.r.2204 2.html/ABAROTH-Ascend1small.jpg. (Note the endless stairs.)

Are there any images of that 3d model from other angles? I'm curious know what it 'really' looks like.

EDIT: answered my own question: http://www.voidgamers.com/channel/HirstArts/HADD7/b.356.r.38 6.html

V cool. A well deserving winner of his competition. With an idea and execution lke that, it can't really have mattered what the other competitors put forward.

True. Though I do also like this PC case http://www.voidgamers.com/click/HirstArts/HADD3/b.96.r.2693. html/CWAUGH-2_Main.JPG from the third derby, and this http://www.voidgamers.com/click/HirstArts/HADD6/b.100.r.1656 7.html/THE_MOMH-IMG_2113e.jpg chessboard from the sixth derby. Note that the board is 'floating' on the 'water'. I'd think it would look really good with a blue LED center bottom to add a nice glow.

A gun case, the command deck of an Imperial Star Destroyer and everything in between... some very strange things people have put together with this stuff.

Edit: another interesting site, http://www.nathanbrickartist.com/, that of the master builder at LegoLand.

Assisted 'research' isn't that new - google and yahoo have both, but I think this may be the first 'live' one, and free to boot.

http://www.chacha.com

Just go to the website, put in some search terms and click 'search with guide'. It starts up a chat session with one of their 'guides' . I gave it two attempts with the search terms "live comedy sydney thursday" (a search that gives a ton of irrelevant results.)

The first guide appeared to give up on me (just stopped responding to messages.) The second guide was actually better than me at searching (and I reckon I'm pretty good.) She also said apparently the system is still a bit dodgy (in beta) so maybe the first guide just had technical problems.

Well worth a play with, just for the novelty if nothing else.

This is so simple it's not surprising nobody thought of it as a possibility before - moving and raising the blocks for stonehenge could have been the work of only a few people. This guy's website has more, and there is a video available for purchase that I'm told is worth it.

Free online media converter. Handles almost every format I've ever heard of and then some. Documents/text, archives, movies, sounds, images, even ringtones.

Not technically a 'cool' thing, but it amused me...

If you have Excel 2007.... 850x77.1

Some bug regarding multiplicitive results that result in precisely 2^16 - 1 ...
