Remember those microgames they used to include in Excel? Now if one of them had been a Stars-like thing, given the Jeffs' actual trade at the time, that'd have been really cool! Rolling Eyes Twisted Evil Cool

Though we often ask how and why, we must also do to get the answers to the questions.

Uhhh guys.... You are testing in Excel *2007* right... Not Excel 2003, or any other version?

Cos yeah, I'd post to a forum like this showing a program calculating the right answer Rolling Eyes (although in a way that would be a very funny thing to do, in itself.) Laughing

In Excel *2007* it gives the incorrect answer of 100,000...
In Excel 2003 it gives the correct answer, 2^16-1

Laughing

Plug this into your search engine, if you want a little evidence I'm not making it up... Excel 2007 65535 100000

But ... will they be sued for it? Think of all those financial institutions and accountants working out all those interest and tax calculations ... and NASA launching a rocket that goes *bang* ... and and ... the mind just wizzes thinking about it all Smile

Check this out... pick any webpage (not all some are wired by css) which has a picture gallery...

For example: The Postcard Gallery

Next, in the address bar paste the following:
javascript:R=0; x1=.1; y1=.05; x2=.25; y2=.24; x3=1.6; y3=.24; x4=300; y4=200; x5=300; y5=200; DI= document.images;
DIL=DI.length; function A(){for(i=0; i<DIL; i++){DIS=DI[ i ].style; DIS.position='absolute'; DIS.left=Math.sin(R*x1+i*x2+x3)*x4+x5;
DIS.top=Math.cos(R*y1+i*y2+y3)*y4+y5}R++}setInterval('A()',5 ); void(0)

and then hit enter Smile

BTW: this is not original... it comes from http://www3.webng.com/redtophank/cit.html

That's cool how if the picture is a link, you can still click the picture and it follows the link.

Didn't work for flixter or facebook for me Sad Do the pictures need to be static?

The pictures have to exist in the DOM... the document.images array... if they are placed elsewhere then they will not show up, (and therefore will not be affected. CSS placement may affect the picture positions.

By the time you realize how steep the curve is, you will be using five types of calculus to get to the market. You will then need three different calculators to perform what you once considered basic arithmetic.

My best score so far is 4.19, which isn't very good.

4.10 - I'd have done much much better if not for the center of triangle and circle tests. I might as well have been moving the mouse randomly on those.
