The Penguins performed an exhaustive examination of the Sulpholobus log files. Sherlock

We found:
1. The S had the FR set to neutral before and during the incident. Neutral
2. The S had battle orders set to only attack enemies. 2 Guns
3. Two S armed DDs fought two armed FR bases. Dueling

The S did nothing to initiate conflict Who me? I'm a saint . If the FR wish to submit their logs to the penguins, we'd be happy to examine them as well Asleep at cptr .

We of the FR find it amusing that someone will send warships to neutral planets, destroy an orbital fort (and now an unarmed colony ship, too!), and complain that they are being trampled on by the defenders.
We also find the Sulphies' information security amusing.

Sulpholobus has not complained of trampling.

Sulpholobus responded to the accusation that Sulpholobus had broken an NAP and the subsequent brand of "honorless scum".

Sulpholobus refuted this and has been vindicated.

Sulpholobus did not initiate the battles. Armed starbases can initiate battle. Unarmed scouts cannot. Hence, the Free Radicals had set Sulpholobus to enemy.

Sulpholobus is equally amused with the Free Radicals. Sulpholobus warships (DD's) carried two blue lasers and could not have attacked any race that did not first initiate combat. Presumably, the Free Radicals believe the rest of the universe will be quaking at the prospect of an armada of such warships launched by Sulpholobus.

The Free Radicals wonder that Sulpholobus prevented their colonisation attempt in a region close to the Sulpholobus HW. They have proven their ill will against Sulpholobus. Sulpholobus has reciprocated their actions and intent.

Sulpholobus.
