Downloading the J patch?

When players that want to join my beginner games ask where they can get the J patch, I always refer them to the Autohost Download site. http://library.southern.edu/stars/kn2050.htm

Some of my players have written back that they can't access the file. Thinking my newbies were also computer challenged, I've tried it. I also get the error message.

Wondered if this was a long term problem or just a recent glich? Anyone else know a download site for the J patch?

http://www.starsfaq.com/download.htm has patches also,
and other files.

Ron, it would also be nice if you could add a link there to the jRC4 patch/exe (I know you posted a link to it in one of the topics but a permanent link would be nice, oh, the link you posted isn't valid, maybe the same problem).

There are people out there not using the wonderfull AutoHost and they would like to have a more protected hosting too.
For instance the Duel games, they are not on AutoHost since it's not really worth to put you through all the trouble of setting up a page for a short game with only 2 players.

I'm having trouble getting FTP to work the way it should on the new server, that is why FTP downloads are not working.

I've updated the AutoHost download page with a message that its not working yet.

There is now a link there for JRC4.
