AR is weak due to lack of minerals till fountain goes, due to vulnerability of fountain and mainly due to kill starbase order.

AR would be far stronger, if kill starbase order was banned, but that would also seriously affect other things, e.g. fast bombers + chaff + kill starbase missles do not work.

What do you think of disallowing kill starbase orders in orbit of AR controlled planets?

My thoughts about that:

-AR gets far stronger, bases are good missle platforms and AR could no protect them with chaff, they get off several shots.

-While AR realize quickly, if rule is broken, its difficult to decide what to do then.

-Problem is when planets change often, one could lose track which is AR and which not

-Rule is difficult to keep for other players, it could be broken by laziness.

-Everybody would hate AR, because of added MM due to checking attack orders and there would be a large alliance against AR.

Your thoughts?

AR is quite strong enough as it is for games with 40+ planets per player.
AR has too weak economy in smaller games. Thats the true weakness. Kill starbase orders do not matter much.
