Jan. 15 AutoHost 'crash'

Sigh...

We're setting up rsync to easily update the web pages on our work's Linux box (which houses Stars AutoHost), and keep the files synchronized between our development box and the production box. I thought I had set the rsync exclude settings correctly to exclude the stars symlink but obviously had it wrong as the symlink was deleted.

I was too busy and tired after I got home to even check email or the forum, so didn't find out about the problem until I arrived at work the next day.

I've placed all games on hold to allow players to upload turns and prevent early turn generation while player turns were out.

I appologize for the trouble and downtime of Stars! AutoHost (17 hours) and thank you for your patience.

umm how long does a resync take??
how slow is the computer running stars?!

Game hosts are supposed to start their games running again. I had AutoHost auto email all hosts (some email bounced) telling them what happened and informing them that they should take their games off of hold when they thought their players were ready.
