Hounds Make Offer |

The 2471 turn included two messages from races indicating desire for declaring the Happy Hounds the IIc game winner.
I presume the 2472 turn will include some responses to this.
My unsolicited opinion is that the Hounds are unstoppable at this point.
The Hounds have made an offer to withdrawl from further activity in the galaxy given that they are declared the winner. i.e. they will stand aside and let the other races duke it out among themselves for 2nd. Hound planets would still be occupied, and their ships will defend themselves if attacked. Final details are not worked out, but this is the gist of the offer.
Comments and suggestions from players are welcome at this point.

Well done to The Hounds !
I don't think this was in any doubt from about the early 50's.
(first Kitties, now Hounds, I know what to look out for in future !).
Hmm, 2nd place.
Now, if I'd known we were playing for 2nd I wouldn't have attacked the Hounds, and could have sat back while you did the same for 3rd place etc. etc.
So I guess I don't really have the energy to continue as all my ships and bases have mysteriously vanished over the past 5 turns.
I say, give the Dog a big big bone, pat him on the back, and look forward to the next game.
