240?
Hmmm.. any page where the planet numbers for all the other universe sizes are given?

Anyways, to come back to iztok's post of 100k for a HG..

With 240 planets, and a hab of even 1/3 and 9 players, you would end up with 26 planets (and capable of using only 1/3rd of those, so 9 planets..)
Even if you consider an HG being able to take thrice his fair share, let's call it 27 odd planets (9*3, with 9 players).

Each maxed out planet producing about 3000 res for a HG.
By 2450, he would be able to push only about 30% of his planets to a 100% hold.
So 3000*27*.3 + 3000*27*.7*.5 (assuming all planets to be 100%).
= 31k approx.

A far cry from 100k, iztok.
I'm a bit confused.

assumptions made -
> 100% habs for all planets.
> 3000 res for a maxed out world.
> 30% worlds maxed out by 2450.
I'm sure the inaccuracies would be cancelled out by each other.

In a medium normal, I've not crossed 25-27k in an actual game.

Also, what sort of HG is that? 100k just doesn't seem feasible in an actual game with other players competing for the same planets.

Hi!

To regularly hit ~40k at 2450 in small packed uni with AccBBS on. Currently a playable HG regularly hits 100k. Shocked

BR, Iztok

He presumably meant that a CA HG that *can* be used in an actual game will hit that if alone.

And small packed is 240 planets to medium normal's 288. Not a huge difference.

Oh, and as for your assumptions, TT CA can hit TT30 and 1/1 hab by 2450 if not bothered by too many enemies.

Hi!
Small packed (240 planets) with AccBBS is a "standard" monster testbed. I haven't mention in a single word a CA in an actual game, but I also haven't mention explicitely I meant the testbed conditions, so sorry for not being clear. I meant the TT HG CA alone in a small packed with AccBBS on.

If you want the race, here it is:
CA
IFE, TT, NRSE, OBRM, NAS, RS
all 3 habs 40 clicks wide centered (1_in_12)
PGR 19%
12/9/15/3
10/3/15
bio and weapons cheap, con normal, rest expensive.

BR, Iztok

Ah..
I'll try out that setting .. I've always played duel universe settings or small normal universes.

Small normal is probably better for seeing how a race will do in a game, but small packed max mins AccBBS is the "standard" testbed for race comparison.
