A suggestion...

Place a link to the private forum of the related game on the game status page.

Side comment, I don't see why there is a separate upload page from the game status page.

my two cents,

Why? Then it would not be private anymore? Only forum members can access the private forum now. Smile

Why not? Some things have to be believed to be seen. Very Happy
Lotsa things in life could be different, but they aren't. For example, I wish they would put the brakes in a car on the steering wheel like on a motorcycle. That would give my feet a break and my hands too. Rolling Eyes It sure would make driving more fun when you try to stop while doing a turn around a corner and you have to reach around the other side of the wheel to squeeze the brake handle. Upside down even. Very Happy And instead of your girlfriend yelling brake, brake, brake she would yell squeeze, squeeze, squeeze. That sounds much less stressful in a tough situation doesn't it? Silly hair
Personally I'm kind of tired of having a wheel in front of my face the whole time anyways. After several decades that gets old. Rolling Eyes Four wheels is enough to get around if you ask me. Why don't they just put in handle bars with clutch and breaks on either side. That's why drunks have trouble driving. It's that damn wheel. It confuses them. And the last thing you want to do if you're drunk is look at something in front of you that is spinning around. They want to hang their hands over something. They're more used to that position at the bars anyway. If they feel really sick they can hang their head over the handle bars and keep on truckin'. You can't do that with a steering wheel. It's too high and it chokes you. And if you stick your head through the middle and you have to make a quick turn your're really ...effed. Very Happy
That's what bikers do. How many bikers do you know that wrecked their hogs driving drunk? You don't think bikers drive sober do you? I don't think so. I know. I had a couple of bikes in my yute. I bet you said none. You know what that means don't you? That means you need to get out more and meet some bikers, that's what I'm talkin' about. Puppy dog eyes
Ever notice some bars have borders around the edge so nothing can slide off. That's for the drunks, to keep everything on the bar. The drunk sits on a stool though. So everything on the bar stays on the bar and the drunk ends up on the floor. They probably did alright until they started sliding off the stool and reached for something to hang unto on the way down, the drinks or anything else on the bar? So the dummies put the borders on the bar instead of the stools? Poke
And as a bonus, now with everything on the handle bars you can use the floor space for the cooler, so you don't have to reach too far for a refreshment. And you never ever have to say again: "Hand me another one. What do you mean they're all gone?" Or if you want, instead of that dinky in-dash radio you can mount a whole entertainment system under the dash. I knew a guy who did that once, back in the old days when cars were bi-i-i-g, not like sardine cans. He had a Pioneer receiver mounted under his dash, SX-800 or something. He was a brother. I suspect he started the rap industry off too. With a setup like that it had to be him. I asked him where the trailer was with the speakers but he wouldn't tell me. He just kinda smiled at me with that friendly I don't know if I like you anymore look. I suspect he was still saving up the cash as he didn't even have a trailer hitch yet. But he did have some headphones laying on the front seat, so.... Very Happy Thumbsup 2

PS BTW I don't drink and drive. I drink first and drive later. Smirk No. Just kidding. Bottoms up, er, bottom line, don't drink and drive. And for all you Stars! calculating math freaks, don't drink and derive. Thumbsup 2

You could still set privledges so registration was required to access the page.

Just putting the link does not hinder the desired security policy

Any host could easily do that himself in the "message from game host", but true, might be good to make it there as default ...

Not all game hosts request a private forum, therefore AutoHost should not (by default) place a link to a probable non-existant private forum on a new game's web page. Currently, private forums have to be setup manually (by me).

The separate upload page is a hold-over from the original source code. If I have to change anything on that page, I only have to do it on one page.

I suppose the HTML code for the upload page could be incorporated into each game page's HTML, but I don't think it would be much better than what you have now.
