Minelayers moving into positions around Taton and Basket Case. I have no resources at McClellan to lay mines.

There was a minefield there last turn before their fleet arrived.

Edog,

If you build 100 mines at the top of your queue at McIntire, you'll be able to build the fortgate in 2 years instead of 3.

I also think you should send a huge amount of minerlas and colonist south and use it at a base of operations to push out and colonize Nu. It's a very good world for you.

I habitually check my email once a day after I get home - sometime around 10 PM MST (I'm at GMT-7 or 8 depending on daylight savings time). If I have a turn available, I do it then. If not, I don't check the Forum, so I don't read a request one day and forget to do it the following day. I do not see this schedule changing significantly for the duration of the game.

FYI, I may be taking a week off in August because we're having our third baby. I will most likely still be doing turns because I'll be in and out of the hospital frequently to take care of the house and dog and other kids and such. If it seems likely I will miss any turns, I will let you all know.

Thanks for the tip on McIntyre - I'm intending to use it as my launching point for Nu...

I have one headed your way with a stop at McClellan for fuel. Paladin, please make sure you fill me up (or does it happen automatically with allies, I forget).

Don't stop at McClellen since there are 50 enemy frigates there. I also belongs mto the Protons and has no Starbases to re-fuel your ship. I also think any MMs in that area need to stay there since they have nearly 100 warships there. You should transfer a MM at your HW to the protons and let him gate one to Scotty.

Please turn OFF the mine field at Mitchell. (I was not expecting you to turn it on last turn)

Please confirm that you will have the field turned off. I am moving all my FFs there this turn.

The enemy force at McClellean will be ready to move on after next turn. I want to make sure that they do not escape. Can you jump some mine layers to scotty and putty with lay on arrival orders so that the enemy force can not move off freely in that direction. Also could you use your MLs at true faith and basket case to lay fields to the west of McClellan - again to cut off possible attack routes for the enemy fleet at McClellean.

Thanks,
Ozone

Mitchell minefield is OFF. MLs are moved to west of McCLellean. One ML gating to Scotty - I need to bring others closer in before going to Putty as well.

I'll have my gate back up at Provo next year, you might wanna send some minelayers that way and give a defensive boost to the center.

Since you're researching energy, can you send me some energy 10 scrappers when you get it? I will need energy 10 for my cloaks. I can have energy 9 this year. I'll have to do a lot of Elect research as well though, so your help will be appreciated.

I could also use some energy 10 scrappers when they are available so that I can be picking up some tech during the up coming weapon lambing years. I will be finished with W12 research this year for those who are interested. I'll probably be up to W14 by the time the con lambing is complete. So plan for at least 4 years of weapons lambing once con 9 is done.

Ozone,

Once you get con-9, you should research con 10 on your own in order to get any/300 gates. These gates will help the whole alliance in particular, it will allow us to get OAs to the riot grrlz.

Please turn off detonation at Bipai. Also please move little hen from ziggaraut to Phi to arrive in 2 turns. I also could use 3 more little hens to mine the front lines.

Please confirm.

Thanks

It will be a few years before I have energy 10. I am completing Bio 7 next year for the Minelayer-80, and then it will be at least four years before I have Energy 10. I am facing threats at Blush and Sadie from multiple races and am making a push southward from McIntyre to Nu (which has been very successful so far.) I have a large fleet of Phaser Bazooka FFs that I am preparing to gate in to Blush for defense. If anyone can spare some warships to help keep the Da'Shain, Angst, and Andorians from cutting me off from the rest of you, that would be greatly appreciated.

The minefield is off and the little hen is moved. I can't spare any new Little Hens right now as I am losing them quickly along my own front lines and trying to replace them. I need support before I can spare resources to build extra MLs.

Fair enough. Hopefully within 4 turns, we will be able to gate lots of OAs to your planets.
