Comments on hosting problems:

#1: I've go no idea if my host's name is Les, don, jon, donjon or Mr L.W.Johnstone. I've getting very confused.

The Name is LesdonjondonjonJohnstone

#2: Nobody has yet commentated on my cool race name. Either this means that I'm playing with a bunch of very quiet people, or nobody here has read Orson Scott Card's "Ender's Game" series. I ask myself, is this group really worth spending time on?

How do you read a card game? You are supposed to play a card game!

#3: I've met a fellow player in the game. It was a GIRL. (Eeew), nuff said.

Girls are cool, I like to have one around most of the time!

#4: Without being an alarmist, my score is not #1. Clearly the host, (who is playing 5 out of the 9 playable slots), is cheating.

Well I am #1, Oh wait a minute that is a different game!

#5: Player 5 is named after the Australian ex-wicketkeeper. The
Australian's regularly beat us (South Africa) at every sport they play. I'm psychologically scarred just reading his name, and struggling to deal with him because of this.

You can keep your wickets, I'm not interested.

No trees were harmed in the making of this sig. However, many electrons were terribly inconvenienced

A stick. With a spike on the bottom. And a notch on the top to rest a bail upon.

(Don't ask what a bail is)

Why is everyone adding to the SPAM in my inbox when we have a forum I can ignore!

Quite right - I feel suitably cowed and crapped upon... Embarassed

Just do it, you WON'T be disappointed. Get hold of "Ender's Game" by Orson Scott Card. Very Happy

Trust a dyslexic like you to get confused between my first name and her surname... No, it's actually my real name.

Cheers

Is a wicketkeeper a basket-maker? Or would that be a wickerkeeper? I was frankly surprised to find so much literature online, all of it boring, about someone who happens to share the same name as me. My parents never followed cricket. I'm not even sure if they've heard of it.

A wicketkeeper is NOT a basket-maker. The best answer I can give you is that a wicketkeeper is like a goalkeeper but with smaller balls. (No, DON'T even think about going THERE)...

If it makes you feel better you can call me EDog like everyone else on the Forum.

I'm touched. Feeling better already. Thanks EDog
