Anyone know a way of inspecting production queues? Even if it was just something like the Planet Summary report that showed more than just the first line. I currently dump the report files and then use Powershell | Out-Gridview and then use the filters to track down some things, but it seems like a detailed production queue report is missing. Is that info only buried deep in the .X files?

Oh, and if there was a way to keep the planet / fleet summary report view from re-setting to a tiny window each time you change view or close and re-open it, that'd be nice too Very Happy

Changes to the production queue(s) are in the .x file. The current/existing production queue information is in the .M file (and .HST file).

The StarsQueue.pl script in TotalHost will output a very simple queue list from a .x, .M, or .HST file.

Note it's without the relationships (Planet ID vs planet name, Player ID vs PlayerName, etc). The goal of that script was to be able to pull queue information so that queue information could be incorporated into TH to look for entries associated with Stars bugs, so TH can correct them or warn that there are issues.

Tried using your website. Do we need to make an account?

```Hard as it is to believe, the site has maxxed out on 50 which is the current configured maximum. Please contact xxx@ccc.zzz if you'd like there to be more! ```
Don't want to install a local copy, as I'll have to install Perl/junction/Apache too.
Yeah, I occasionally get user bombed, so I coded a limit. Limits increased.
I don't think it will do what you want tho. TH is a hosting platform. While it (can) meddle with turn files, it does it as part of turn generation.
What I suspect you want is the utility files, which are effectively the precursors to code being integrated into TH. They're also on github, as, generally, stars*.pl
They're standalone, and generally dump data from turn files. Some of them (starsclean and starsfix come to mind) check and meddle with the data in turn files, and then write them back out. So if you wanted to, say, drop all blocks that were add starbase to queue, the code is generally there to do that with modification. I'm glad to help with that if you like.
You will have to have perl for the utilities, but should just be a simple install.
Junction is only necessary to make the perl exe easy to find, it's not really necessary.
But my goal for TH wasn't really to have others set up their own instance, but to be able to host games. I just open sourced it in protest of the stars closed source mentality that drives me crazy.
I don't quite know what host creator errors are? Some of the files have checksum that have to be calculated when you modify a file and of course they have to be decrypted, modified or dropped or added, and then decrypted
Anyway, happy to help however I can. People using it makes me happy, and it's a fun project.
Rick
