Hi all,

I've had the shareware version of this game since the late 90s and have played off and on over the years (decades?). However, all of that time I was limited to the default races, small maps, and tech level 10. I was also using a previous version of the game where fuel was still a planet resource.

So, I suppose I am pretty green when it comes to deeper game mechanics, tech trees, strategy, and certainly have never played multiplayer before. I'd like to join a game if anyone has space and doesn't mind me fumbling around in the galaxy. Something with teams would be fun.

Please let me know!

Thanks for the replies!

Yes I'd love to do a comp-stomp game. I am not very familiar with the subtle differences between my old trial version and the version that's in StarsWine. E.g, no fuel on planets, battle computers, etc.

I also have NO idea how to use the multiplayer functionality.

As for a key, I was able to grab a key from Ron so I'm good to go with a legitimate copy of the game. Let me know what I have to do next.
