I just need to obtain current download I have already Done the paypal thing with the Admiral. I just want to be sure I'm downloading a legal game that not going to shaft my computer. Smile

Yea, Ron should be back from his conference by Sunday, so it should take another 24-48 hours to get your key.

You might want to send a QUICK mail or pm to Ashlyn for a slot in Classic Capers. She hasn't genned the universe yet, iirc.

You can create a race using the normal demo version too, I'm sure.
If that doesn't work, ping me.
You can have my 2nd serial key and I'll take yours when Ron comes on Very Happy

I may check out the JOAT type of race being a beginner.Can I transfer my race from the demo to the game?

Yes,
there is no Problem with that. The Race Definition ist stored in a seperate file. So you can use your Races everywhere.

Do I need to download all of the updates To get this game to work properly? I am still just doing the tutorial and none of the help windows come up and the game keeps freezing in the same place. LOL darned Newbies anyways lol Rolling Eyes

I'm stuck on Page 41 of the 80 in the tutorial And the hint button is showing no Love Wink

You don't need any updates to just play a game on your PC but if you join a game against other players on this Forum you will need to. The game announcement will normally say what version is required.

The Help file is a separate download - you can find it here: http://starsautohost.org/kn2050.htm

If you have downloaded this and it is not working then there may be something wrong with the installation. The game should certainly not freeze.

There are a few tweaks you can do to the Stars .ini file. These are not essential but are easy to do.
