US Holiday (Memorial Day) this Monday and at least two emperorers will be at the summer palace. Therefore, a vote on whether to hold the game and skip the Monday turn generation. It will be taken off hold Tuesday near the normal gen time. Or earlier if all turns are in. A turn will still gen Friday evening - but with a hold won't be due until Tuesday night. (talking in USian times)

I already find the wait from 2am Saturday to 2am Tuesday too long ! Bored
So I'd have to say "No!" Thumbs Down

However if people are missing from Friday evening to Monday evening then they obviously can't get their turn in. So I won't complain either way.

Would running the Friday night/Sat morning deadline early help ?

Oddly, I will be away fron 6th to 9th June, but can submit early Friday morning and late Monday night and still make all scheduled deadlines. Just the convenience of the 2am deadlines for me.

I cannot see how to vote, it seems disabled.

But I'm going away this weekend, and would prefer the game to not generate on Monday.

Well that decides it then, for me.

I'll have extra time to re-write all my production queues. Smile

Looks like another example of American Imperialism to me. Making a whole universe stop for an American holiday. Razz
I'm going to be spending the weekend in the woods with a 50 lb. pack on my back. I don't think I'll be able to bring my computer along so it's best for me if there's no gen over the long weekend.

I will be away until late Monday, so don't expect any turns to be submitted this weekend.
I should make the Monday night deadline !
